Urgent opening for STP & ETP Operator in Chemical Industry @ Derabassi Punjab.

Experience - 2 to 4 Years Experience in ETP/STP operation is mandatory.

Salary - 25,000 to 30,000 per month

Qualification - . with 2 Year Experience/ ITI with 3-4 yrs. Experience in ETP operation is mandatory

Job Responsibilities

Operating and Monitoring Equipment: They ensure the treatment process runs smoothly by operating pumps, valves, and other equipment. Sludge wasting time to time. They monitor control panels, gauges, and meters/ Flow meters to identify and address any issues. He should coordinate with production plant, RO plant, MEE plant, utility, Engg. dept., for proper transfer and treatment of effluent. Disposal of ETP treated water.

Sample Collection and Testing: ETP operators regularly collect effluent samples at various stages of treatment. Check Basic parameters like pH and TDS etc. to ensure the treated wastewater meets environmental regulations.

Chemical Dosing and Process Adjustment: Based on test results, dosing chemical preparation, adjust chemical dosages and equipment settings to optimize the treatment process and maintain effluent quality.

Record Keeping and Reporting: Operator will document (charge Handover register), including equipment operation logbook, test results, chemical usage, and maintenance activities. Operator should report any abnormality to senior staff.

Maintenance: They shall perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning equipment, lubricating parts, check for any abnormal sound and troubleshooting minor issues. For major repairs, they collaborate with technicians.

Tank and ETP sludge cleaning: - Packing and Shifting of ETP sludge to designated area and monitor ETP tank cleaning activity (when required).

Storm water drain: - He will follow SOP regarding Storm water drain management. Skills and Qualifications: -
