We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage our inventory, supplies, and equipment. The successful candidate will ensure accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of materials, supporting the efficient operation of our construction sites and offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
Maintain accurate inventory records using software and manual systems.
Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
Procurement and Logistics
Assist in procurement processes, including ordering and tracking materials.
Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries and resolve issues.
Storage and Organization
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area.
Ensure proper storage and handling of sensitive/equipment materials.
Distribution and Issuance
Issue materials and equipment to site staff and contractors.
Monitor and track inventory usage.
Administration
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Assist with audits and inventory counts.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
Report any safety hazards or concerns.
Collaboration
Liaise with site staff, contractors, and suppliers.
Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
1-2 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
