Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of stock, including receipts, issues, and transfers.
Conduct regular stock-taking and inventory audits.
Monitor stock levels and reorder as necessary to avoid shortages.
2. Store Operations:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against purchase orders.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage area.
3. Distribution:
Issue goods and materials to departments as per requisitions.
Coordinate with suppliers and transport teams for timely deliveries.
Track and document the movement of goods in and out of the store.
4. Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of transactions using inventory management systems or manual logs.
Prepare and submit regular inventory and stock reports to management.
5. Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to company policies and safety standards in handling goods.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the storage area.
