Job Description

Greeting guests: Welcoming guests and helping them find their tables

Taking orders: Taking orders for food and drinks and communicating them to the kitchen or waiter station

Setting tables: Preparing tables for guests, including setting up tablecloths, candles, and seasonal decorations

Serving guests: Providing menus, serving water, and refilling drinks

Stocking tables: Keeping tables stocked with napkins, utensils, condiments, and trays

Clearing tables: Clearing tables after guests finish eating and preparing them for new guests

Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the dining area, kitchen, and service areas clean and hygienic

Managing inventory: Tracking inventory levels, ordering supplies, and reordering items when they are low

Supervising staff: Overseeing the kitchen and service staff, including scheduling, training, and supervising

Managing issues: Handling customer complaints about food, menu, payment options, or customer service
