Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring they are presented neatly and according to company standards.
Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
Check on guests regularly to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after service.
Comply with all health and safety regulations, including food safety and cleanliness standards.
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Waiter or in a customer service role is preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
A team player with a passion for providing exceptional service.
Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine pairing (preferred).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to carry trays and lift items.
