Job Purpose:
• As a STEAM Instructor, the ideal candidate will involve delivering engaging and interactive lessons in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). This role will inspire and guide students to develop their skills and creativity in these fields.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Facilitate engaging and interactive STEM lessons for students, focusing on subjects such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
2. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and hands-on activities that align with educational standards and program objectives.
3. Provide clear explanations and demonstrations of STEM concepts and principles, ensuring students understand the subject matter.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
5. Guide students in conducting experiments, projects, and practical applications of STEM knowledge, encouraging exploration and hands-on learning.
6. Use various teaching methodologies and instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
7. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development in STEM disciplines.
8. Collaborate with other instructors, program coordinators, and external partners to enhance program effectiveness and implement best practices.
9. Stay updated on the latest advancements, discoveries, and trends in STEM fields, and incorporate relevant and real-world examples into lessons.
10. Collaborate with the curriculum development team to provide input and insights on program improvements and content updates.
