Responsibilities:

As a Steel Fixer, you will be responsible for:

Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans to comprehend steel reinforcement requirements.

Bending, cutting, and shaping steel bars according to project specifications, ensuring accurate alignment and dimensions.

Installing and securing steel bars within concrete structures, using tying techniques and appropriate tools.

Collaborating closely with fellow steel fixers, engineers, and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks.

Adhering strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment.

Inspecting steel reinforcements for defects, damages, or imperfections and addressing necessary repairs.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained.

Contributing to the efficient utilization of materials to minimize wastage and reduce project costs.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in construction projects, preferably with experience in Dubai or the Gulf region.

Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and plans related to steel reinforcement.

Strong skillset in bending, cutting, and shaping steel bars accurately to meet project specifications.

Knowledge of various steel fixing techniques and tying methods to ensure reinforcement stability.

Ability to work efficiently in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
