A SS (stainless steel) fabricator is responsible for creating, modifying, and repairing metal components, structures, and machinery made from stainless steel. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

Measuring and marking dimensions and reference points on metal components

Cutting, shaping, and bending stainless steel using various tools and equipment such as saws, grinders, and welding equipment

Assembling and fitting stainless steel components and structures

Welding, bolting, and riveting stainless steel components and structures together

Polishing and finishing stainless steel components to a high-quality finish

Inspecting and testing finished products to ensure they meet quality standards

Maintaining and cleaning tools and equipment used in the fabrication process

Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures

An SS fabricator may work in a variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing, engineering, and automotive. They may work independently or as part of a team, and they must be able to work accurately and efficiently to meet project deadlines. They should also have good communication skills to work with other team members and to understand and follow instructions.
