Overview of duties:

1. Candidate must have Minimum 4+ years of Experience in PHP development.

2. Understanding of open source projects like Wordpress, Drupal, osCommerce, etc

3. Core Competencies

a) Strong Logical and Analytical Skills

c) JavaScript & jQuery

d) Strong Knowledge about OOPs concept

4. Secondary Skills

a) Knowledge in Web Services (JSON/XML)

b) Knowledge in Benchmarking and SQL optimization

c) Knowledge with open source software

d) Knowledge in Payment Gateway

5. Expectations

a) Strong Knowledge in PHP and MySQL.

b) Good understanding in RDBMS.

c) Knowledge in HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX

d) Knowledge of Apache

e) should be strong in Logical and Analytic skills

f) Good communication

6. Should be Proficient in:

a) Solid knowledge of PHP (Core PHP & Object Oriented PHP) and MySQL is mandatory, knowledge of other languages considered a big advantage

b) HTML 5

c) CSS 3

d) JavaScript

e) jQuery

f) AJAX

7. Frameworks:

a) Yii 1 / Yii 2

b) Laravel (Optional)

8. Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc) and payment gateway integration

9. Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas

10. Able to give inputs and ideas in project meetings.

11. Able to understand project requirements with minimum assistance.

12. Good understanding of performance tuning methods and techniques

13. Writes, analyzes, modifies, and reviews programs. This may include coding, testing, debugging, and documenting various programs

14. Clear understanding of source control tool and their usage
