1. Responsible for the development of the website on Shopify and Shopify plus platform as per the design handed off by the UI designers

2. Generate custom-tailored Shopify theme and altering pre-existing Shopify theme

3. Deliver optimised, fast loading and super responsive website

4. Developing testing plans and troubleshooting issues related to the project scope of work

5. Develop unique Shopify Store experience

6. Coordinate and manage the projects under the other members of the development team

Qualications

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in Shopify Website Development

2. General experience building, launching and maintaining Shopify stores, as well as general

knowledge of the Shopify platform

3. In-depth experience with Shopify's Liquid language

4. Demonstrable expertise with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Responsive design

5. Thorough experience of developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile

devices

6. In-depth knowledge of speed optimisation of Shopify stores

7. Experience with Javascript libraries like AJAX, JQuery, GSAP, and others

8. Experience with micro interactions, transitions, effects and animations

9. Experience with implementing/debugging 3rd party Shopify apps as well as creating custom

solutions if necessary

10. Thorough testing and debugging skills with browser console and external tools

11. Experience with Shopify's object/properties, API, and Meta fields

12. Experience working with Shopify apps and 3rd party services

13. Excellent communication skills is required, giving proactive feedback to peers and team

14. Excellent organizational skills is required

15. Experience working with hand off tools like Zeplin, Figma, Adobe InDesign
