Role & Responsibilities
a) Managing technical interfaces within their own discipline; leading simple technical interfaces across disciplines.
b) Should be able to handle single-discipline teams on projects of average complexity or as a Project Manager on medium and larger projects and Design Manager on smaller and medium projects.
c) Should be able to offer & suggest new ideas, solutions, and processes and sees them through to completion.
d) Should be able to review the design for technical, legal, and safety issues.
e) Should be able to understand the technical drawings.
f) Should have in-depth knowledge of QA/QS and costing analysis.
g) Should have knowledge of standardization of product and product details ., commercial office spaces from a design and cost perspective.
h) Should have prior knowledge of commercial assets & washroom and kitchen facilities from a design and cost perspective.
i) Work in effective collaboration with departments such as Procurement, Design, and Facilities.
Skillset required
a. Software proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office with an understanding of Photoshop and 3D software
b. Demonstrated exposure to business development.
c. Unquestioned integrity, highly motivated, positive to a challenging environment.
d. Very strong interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of levels of personnel.
e. Ability to collaborate & work in a team environment as well as independently.
f. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
g. Be an analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
h. Knowledge of Design, Bylaws, codes, and standards, relevant to interior fit-outs.
i. Work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction.
j. Work well under pressure and independently with minimal supervision.
