Special Educator Responsibilities and Duties:

Collaborate with the Child Psychologists, Speech Therapists,Occupational Therapists to create holistic intervention plans.

Assess Clients abilities and craft teaching plans.

Monitor childrens behavioural patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed.

Find engaging activities to teach skills (Example, drawing and theatre drama).

Plan and perform informal assessments.

IEP Definition (self and other team members).

Prepare aids / resources as required.

Periodic review of Progress with IEP.

Assess students abilities and craft teaching plans.

Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities.

Qualification: Masters In Special Education or Bachelors In Special Education (Must).

Requirements:

Should have experience teaching students with Learning Disabilities.

B. Ed (Special Education)/M. Ed in Special Education.

1+ years experience as a Special Educator.

Excellent Communication Skills.
