Job Description:- Special Educator

Qualification:- Any Graduate but must have completed BEd. In special education or Mentally Retarded (MR) or Multiple disability with RCI registration complete.

Languages:- Must be fluent in English, Marathi and Hindi

Salary:- lac per annum

- Assess skills to determine needs and develop teaching plans by conducting complete educational assessments

using the latest tests and generating reports for the same.

- Adapt special ed. methodologies to meet the needs of clients.

- Develop and implement Individualised Education Programs (IEPs) for clients as per needs, track progress, assess

needs in line with goals set for each client.

- Plan, organize, and assign activities that are specific to each students abilities, teach and mentor students, in

small groups, and one-on-one.

- Ensure reviews with parents/ guardians are conducted on a timely basis to discuss/ review progress.

- Involve self with the clinical psychologist and generate combined reports for assessments and recommendations.

- Supervise and mentor teacher assistants/ care givers who work with students with disabilities as per the need of

individual cases.

- To educate a clients family about how to accommodate and care for the client by giving advice and arranging

support for family members.
