Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labelling them. Helping customers find and purchase the correct parts. Overseeing special orders. Collaborating with service managers to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs. help customers find the spare parts they are looking for. Read catalogues to determine new parts on the market. Ensure all necessary parts are stocked and ready for purchase. Order new parts from catalogue as needed. An automotive parts counter person is responsible for customer service and retail sales at an auto parts store. In this position, your responsibilities include selling parts and taking inventory of stock in storage and, if necessary, on shelves.
