Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes according to hotel's menu and guest preferences

Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards

Maintain the kitchen's cleanliness and sanitation standards

Manage food inventory and ordering supplies as needed

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation

Develop new South Indian dishes and menus as needed

Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Assist with planning and preparing menus for events and special occasions

Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a South Indian Cook in a hotel or restaurant

Strong knowledge of South Indian culinary traditions and cooking techniques

Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Fluent in English; additional language skills will be an added advantage

Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
