We are looking for a tech enthusiast who is excited about working in a tech startup to bring the product vision to life, and passionate about learning new technologies and building scalable and highly secure web applications. We are a small team and you will be working directly with the tech lead on designing and implementing the software architecture on a tech stack of Java and MySQL, deployed in AWS. Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the architecture design, code review, and technology build and deployment activities of web applications.

Own the product development Help define and implement the architecture of scalable and secure web applications

Define and ensure correct coding practices, including test driven development methodologies

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code to build the defined product features

Report development progress to management team

Stay up-to-date with latest technologies in web and cloud space

Lead web development efforts, including mentoring and advising peers

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or closely-related field

Must have experience coding in Java

Must be an excellent problem solver with a passion to continuously learn and implement new web technologies

Preferable

1-2 years of experience in backend web development, preferably in Java

Experience with Spring / Spring Boot is a plus

Experience with AWS is a plus.
