Job Responsibilities:

• Application Development: The application developer will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining and supporting Windows applications of existing clients and work on new projects assigned

• These include requirement specifications, analysis, designing, coding and testing the windows application before final delivery.

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

• Maintenance: Responsibilities include ongoing maintenance of existing windows applications associated with intranet, extranet and websites.

• Application & Project Management: The candidate must be able to adhere to defined company policies for development and support programming methodologies and standards.

• The candidate should be comfortable working in a team or even single-handedly depending on project requirements.

• Communicating with clients and company representatives in other time zones also requires flexibility regarding working hours.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualified at degree level or a similar field.

• A minimum of more than 3 and favourably 5 years’ experience of software development in a commercial environment is required.

• Experience of a broad range of software development tools is an advantage.

• Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code

• Experience with popular windows application

• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
