Skill Sets: Stored Procedures, Triggers, Performance Tuning, Query Optimization,views,SQL Queries

- Reviewing query performance and optimizing code
- Writing queries used for front-end applications (websites, desktop applications, or cloud apps)
- Designing and coding database tables to store the applications data
- Data modeling to visualize database structure
- Working with application developers to create optimized queries
- Creating database triggers for automation, e.g., automatic email notifications
- Creating table indexes to improve database performance
- Programming views, stored procedures, and functions
- Identify opportunities for improved performance in SQL operations and implementations
- Oversee the operations of the production and staging environments databases
- Design, implement, and monitor disaster recovery plans as it pertains to the production database environment
- Perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate and correct data and database issues
- Give design recommendations for database functions that meet business operating standards while improving the efficiency of business processes
- Train and mentor junior personnel on best practices
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
