Social media marketing involves using various social media platforms to promote a company's products or services. As a social media marketer, your job would be to create and execute strategies that increase brand awareness, drive traffic to the company's website, and ultimately increase sales.
Some of the key responsibilities of a social media marketer include:
- Developing and implementing social media campaigns across various platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok)
- Creating and curating engaging content (such as posts, images, videos, and stories) that resonates with the target audience
- Analyzing and reporting on the performance of social media campaigns, using metrics such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing, and incorporating them into your strategies
- Collaborating with other departments (such as sales, customer service, and product development) to ensure that social media efforts align with overall business goals
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, a creative mindset, and a deep understanding of social media platforms and their audiences. You should also be comfortable with data analysis and able to use insights to optimize campaigns over time.
Skills and requirements:
1. Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist;
2. Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills;
3. Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability;
4. Fluency in English writing and reading is added advantage
5. Good knowledge of using Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign and other editing tools
