Job Title: Social Media Manager

The main responsibilities include the following:
1) Conceptualising/strategising, planning and execution of the monthly plan/calendar
2) Creating original, suitable/relevant, compelling content for each of the mediums with relevant visuals for each post in a contemporary style
3) Showcasing AFS brand’s work (stories from the field) etc regularly and effectively
4) Conceptualise/plan and execute/run effective online social media campaigns
5) CRM—Online Customer Relationship Management—Responding to inbox and comment queries on each of the platforms on a proactive basis
6) Monitoring social media activity of similar NGOs on a regular basis— wrt to AIM for Seva--CRY, Pratham, Akshaya Patra, Single Teacher School, World Vision, Nanhi Kali, Tata Trusts etc. Manage the online community
7) Monthly analysis—to see and ensure whether the social media plan is working as desired and ensure corrective action if required on a real time basis
8) Experience/knowledge of online videos, GIFs, infographics design of content. You Tube management and virtual events
Main Requirements
1) Good social media marketing proficiency across all digital channels—FB, Insta, Twitter, Linked In, YouTube, Google Business and Google Plus
2) Experience in developing social media marketing strategies and marketing plan
3) Developing the right voice and tone for each platform.
4) Proven ability to build social media communities and engagement strategies and execution
5) Experience in Visual Communication, design skills and virtual events would be an added advantage
6) Passionate about the medium to ensure AIM and associated brand is visible digitally
7) Ability to successfully develop, execute and monitor social media campaigns
8) Collaborate and work with all team members effectively to ensure AFS is a strong player in the digital space
