Job Description: In-House Social Media Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and strategic In-House Social Media Manager to join our media company. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage our audience, and promote our brands. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and a passion for the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and LinkedIn, aligned with the company's marketing and content release goals.

2. Content Creation: Conceptualise and create engaging, relevant, and high-quality content for various social media platforms. Generate visually appealing graphics, videos, GIFs, and other multimedia assets.

3. Platform Management: Craft compelling and concise captions, posts, and updates that reflect the company's brand and storytelling. Upload content and analyse data.

4. Community Management: Foster a positive online community by engaging with fans, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns professionally.

5. Campaign Execution: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote releases, events, and other company initiatives. Monitor and analyze campaign performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• A self starter

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.

• Strong familiarity with major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.

• Excellent writing skills and the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.

• Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.

• Creativity in devising engaging content ideas and campaign concepts.
