1. Set up and operate slitting machines to cut and rewind rolls of materials as papers , according to job specifications and customer requirements.

2. Adjust machine settings such as speed, tension and blade positioning to ensure precision cuts and to accommodate different material and sizes.

3. Remove slit rolls from the machine label them according to job order specifications.

4. Perform routine maintenance on slitting machinery to minimize down time
