As a Freelance IT Support Technician, you will provide technical support to our clients and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving a variety of IT issues in diverse environments, ensuring impeccable operations and exceptional customer service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to our clients
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and general IT problems.
- Offer clients technical advice and user training for IT systems and software.
- Perform system upgrades, software installations, and other IT maintenance tasks as needed.
- Record and report all service requests, work performed, and resolutions.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction on every job.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in providing IT support, preferably in a field-based or freelance role.
- Proficient in Windows, macOS, Linux and common business software applications.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, etc.) and hardware configuration.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage your own schedule, work independently, and take initiative.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise software.
- Experience in IT security protocols and best practices.
- Relevant IT certifications are a considerable bonus.
