Whom we are looking for:
As an SRE, you will be joining a diverse, highly distributed team of experienced engineers onshore and offshore. This includes the support and maintenance of products within a variety of development stages primarily utilizing C#/ .NET, SQL Server, WCF, WebAPI, NServiceBus, MSMQ, MongoDB, and Redis.
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for automation and monitoring, who has a strong desire to learn new technologies and tools, thrive, and create a collaborative team environment. Experience in Application Performance Monitoring tools like New RelicAppDynamics and Dev Ops automation on WindowsLinux is required. This position is highly hands-on and requires gaining intimate knowledge of our users, customers, and architecture. The SRE will work closely to ensure that the products being built drive customer usage, are easily supportable by Customer teams, accurate, highly available, and scalable.
Responsibilities
Monitor .NET applications in the Data Center.
Troubleshoot performance issues across the full-stack hosted on Windows and Linux using tools like AppDynamics, SumoLogic, Logic Monitor, and SQL Logs.
Serve as an escalation point for DC Ops, Tech Support, Engineers, and other technology teams in the resolution of server and system problems.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation tools (. Chef, Bamboo, PS, Jenkins, and Octopus) used in the management of our infrastructure.
Hardware Capacity planning.
Plan, schedule, test and perform software installation and upgrades.
Create and maintain documentation of systems and processes for existing and new systems.
Administer and troubleshoot all mission-critical environments.
Maintain PCI, PHI, and SOX compliance with required applications and environments.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience supporting highly distributed applications, with signicant experience in the Microsoft Stack.
A certificate in any APM tool is preferred.
