Responsibilities for site engineer

Be able to read and understand drawings and schedules

Have the ability to take off and schedule material quantities accurately

Shall visit project sites to check and monitor the progress of the work and write reports after the visit

Understand what constitutes as additional work

Ensure construction operations are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements using the appropriate procedures

Ensure that only the latest issue drawings and documents are being used

Carry out inspections

Complete as-built and quality records as required by Site Manager

Have proven experience within a similar role

Have qualifications in a civil engineering related subject

Qualifications for site engineer

Diploma/ Engineer

To assist in the production of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and other documentation as required to gain Permits to Work in a timely manner

To proactively interact with other site based teams, building a good rapport, ensuring the smooth flow of information to enable the efficient running of the site operation

To work in absolute compliance with all site procedures and embrace the customers Zero Harm to People and the Environment mantra

Carry out any additional tasks that may be required
