In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the landscape of Dubai through your craftsmanship and precision in constructing formwork structures.
Responsibilities:
As a Shuttering Carpenter, you will be responsible for:
Reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute formwork requirements.
Precisely measuring, cutting, and shaping various materials, including timber and plywood, to create sturdy and reliable formwork molds.
Constructing and assembling formwork systems according to project specifications, ensuring alignment with design guidelines.
Installing and securing formwork using appropriate tools and techniques, guaranteeing stability and safety during concrete pouring.
Collaborating closely with team members, including supervisors, engineers, and fellow carpenters, to ensure seamless project progression.
Inspecting formwork for any defects, damages, or wear and addressing repairs and replacements as needed.
Adhering strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
Managing materials efficiently to minimize waste and contribute to cost-effective construction practices.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need:
Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter in construction projects, preferably with experience in Dubai or the Gulf region.
Proficiency in using carpentry tools, both hand and power tools, to execute tasks effectively.
Strong ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, blueprints, and plans.
