We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Shovel Operator to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Shovel Operator, you will play a critical role in our construction and excavation projects, operating heavy-duty shovels to move materials and assist in various site operations. Your skills and expertise will contribute to the efficient and safe execution of our projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation: Safely and skillfully operate heavy-duty shovels and excavators to perform tasks such as digging, loading, unloading, and moving materials on construction sites.

Material Handling: Efficiently handle a variety of materials, including soil, rocks, debris, and construction materials, while adhering to loading and weight capacity guidelines.

Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation activities, including digging trenches, grading surfaces, and clearing debris to facilitate construction projects.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy machinery, ensuring the safety of yourself, fellow workers, and bystanders.

Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks on shovels and excavators, including inspecting and greasing parts, identifying potential issues, and reporting maintenance needs to the maintenance team.

Worksite Communication: Coordinate and communicate with supervisors, fellow operators, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues that may arise during equipment operation to minimize downtime.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed, materials moved, and maintenance tasks completed.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy-duty shovels or excavators in a construction, mining, or similar environment.
