Role & responsibilities

Developing eCommerce sites on Shopify platform

Developing custom Shopify themes and Plugins

Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify

Extending website functionalities using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc

Integrating third-party and platform supported apps in the sites

Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in Shopify platform

Page speed optimization of Shopify sites

Creating responsive website designs

Working under tight deadlines

Handling multiple projects at the same time

Producing high quality of work with a strong focus on detail

Preferred candidate profile

A strong grasp of both Shopify and WordPress platforms is essential.

Demonstrated skill in customizing and creating Shopify themes to tailor online stores.

Knowledge of Shopify's Liquid templating language to manipulate and structure content.

Proficiency in working with various Shopify JavaScript APIs, including storefront, AJAX Cart, and Sections.

Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for web development.

Proficiency in JavaScript libraries such as jQuery.

A thorough comprehension of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.

Proficiency in responsive web design techniques to ensure optimal user experience across devices.

Great attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

At least 1 year (preferred) of experience in developing Shopify websites.

Experience with other e-commerce platforms like WordPress, Magento, and BigCommerce is a plus.

Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and AJAX is preferred.

The ability to adapt to a diverse and multicultural environment
