Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Management:
o Plan and schedule metal fabrication activities to meet production goals and
timelines.
o Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure availability of materials and
resources.
o Monitor workflow and adjust schedules as needed to optimize production
efficiency.
2. Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that all metalwork meets design specifications, quality standards, and
aesthetic requirements.
o Conduct regular inspections and implement quality control measures to
maintain consistent product quality.
o Address any issues related to production quality promptly and effectively.
3. Team Leadership:
o Supervise, train, and mentor a team of metalworkers, welders, and fabricators.
o Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback to ensure
productivity and adherence to safety and quality standards.
o Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration,
and professional growth.
4. Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in
metal fabrication.
o Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline

o Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to resolve design-related
challenges and improve manufacturability.
5. Resource Management:
o Manage inventory of metal materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock

o Monitor equipment maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime
and ensure operational readiness.
o Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity while controlling costs.
6. Safety and Compliance:
o Uphold and enforce safety protocols and regulations within the metal shop
environment.
