Job Responsibilities: Assisting one special needs child during school hours to make him/her more functional and independent. Maintain records and reports of development of the child. Communicating with the parents about the child's progress & sending Daily reports to parents and Starlit.
Job Description:
-- Assisting the child throughout his/her school hours
-- Providing one-on-one support to the child
-- Explaining concepts in a fun & creative way
-- Working on the academic skills by conducting different activities
-- Facilitate the child's participation & engagement in classroom activities
-- Support child in building positive social relationships with peers & encouraging appropriate social behavior
-- Ensuring the child's safety & overall well being during the school hours
-- Preparing goals & plans & monthly progress reports
-- Sending daily sessions mails to the parents & school about the child's behavior & strategies used by the support teacher
NOTE: Intensive training will be provided by the company initially to ensure that the chosen candidate is up to the mark in terms of working as a support teacher for special children.
