Position: Service Manager Electric Vehicle (EV) Department
Location: Pune
Experience: 5+ years in automotive service management, with at least 2 years in EV service or related technologies
Key Responsibilities:
Service Operations Management:
Oversee and manage the entire EV service department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics and repairs.
Team Leadership:
Lead, train, and develop a team of service engineers and technicians. Ensure all staff are well-versed in EV technology, safety standards, and repair protocols.
Customer Support:
Act as the primary point of contact for escalated service issues, ensuring customer satisfaction through quick resolution of technical problems, warranty claims, and service inquiries.
Service Quality Control:
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for EV maintenance and repairs.
EV Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues related to electric powertrains, battery systems, charging infrastructure, and other EV-specific components.
Warranty and Claims Management: Oversee warranty claims and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines. Handle disputes related to service or product failures.
Vendor and Manufacturer Coordination: Coordinate with EV manufacturers and parts suppliers for warranty repairs, part replacements, and technical updates.
Inventory Management: Ensure that spare parts and equipment specific to EVs are adequately stocked, reducing downtime and improving service efficiency.
Continuous Improvement:
Keep up-to-date with the latest EV technology advancements, participate in training sessions, and implement innovative solutions to improve the service processes.
