Job Title: Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our company's products or systems at customer sites. The Service Engineer will also provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective and timely service.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Commissioning:

Install, set up, and commission company products or systems at customer locations.

Ensure proper functioning and adherence to specifications during the installation process.

Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform routine maintenance on products to ensure optimal performance.

Diagnose and repair malfunctions or technical issues promptly and efficiently.

Customer Support:

Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person.

Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repairs.

Prepare detailed service reports and submit them to the appropriate channels.

Training:

Conduct training sessions for customers on the proper use and maintenance of products.

Provide guidance and assistance to customers in troubleshooting common issues.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all service activities comply with company quality standards and procedures.

Implement corrective actions to address identified issues and improve service quality.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and engineering, to address customer needs and improve product performance.

Communicate effectively with colleagues to share knowledge and insights.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
