Duties & Responsibilities
1. Work on the new projects and existing operations to maintain the services and support delivered on time.
2. Take overall responsibility once the task are assigned to make sure it has completed by co-ordinating with internal field team and customers
3. Co-ordinate with customers to complete the process needed to deliver the given services.
4. To provide technical consultation and the Internal field engineers
5. Create the documentation as and when needed.
6. Work as a bridge between the sales team and customers to deliver the projects on time.
7. Perform onsite and remote preventive maintenance to ensure all network systems performance availability and reliability.
8. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
9. Provide Level-2 support for software, hardware, networking and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
10. Analyze current network configurations, data logs to diagnose and identify root causes to network issues.
11. Provide guidance and support the Support Services team members.
12. Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required.
13. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
14. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
15. Periodically provide after-hours, standby duties and weekend support.
16. Understand the technical issues related to day-to-day operations, LAN/WAN/MAN, core network architecture and troubleshooting.
17. Maintain and extend expertise in applicable areas of network and software technologies
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
1. Working experience in Data Centre as a Field engineer
2. Working experience in IT equipment Rack & Stack in the Data Centers
3. Working experience in Cabling (fibre/copper)
4. Working experience in SFP, SFP+, Servers, Network cards, HD
