Job Summary: The Car Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in a timely and efficient manner. This role involves working with a variety of car makes and models, using diagnostic tools and repair equipment to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and perform optimally.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Inspections:

Perform regular inspections of vehicles to detect issues and ensure they meet safety regulations.

Assess and evaluate vehicle performance by conducting tests (., engine, brake, suspension, transmission).

Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:

Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems.

Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and determine the most effective solutions.

Repairs and Maintenance:

Perform repairs and replacements of parts such as engines, brakes, batteries, exhaust systems, and transmission systems.

Change oil, replace filters, and carry out routine maintenance services.

Repair or replace damaged body parts and components, such as lights, windows, or air conditioning systems.

Customer Communication:

Explain vehicle issues and recommended repairs to customers in a clear and understandable manner.

Provide cost estimates for repairs and obtain customer approval before performing work.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and labor costs for each vehicle.

Update service histories and ensure compliance with warranty guidelines.

Safety and Cleanliness:

Adhere to safety procedures while working with tools, equipment, and hazardous materials.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficiency and safety.

Up-to-date Knowledge:

Stay informed about the latest automotive technology, repair methods, and industry standards.

Attend training sessions and workshops to improve technical skills.
