Job Description

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for implementing, managing, and enhancing all SEO efforts for our Shopify store. This role involves keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and understanding Shopify-specific SEO best practices. You will work closely with the content, design, and marketing teams to ensure SEO goals align with our overall digital marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy Development: Develop and execute an SEO strategy tailored for Shopify, focusing on driving organic traffic, improving rankings, and increasing conversions.

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor SEO performance through data analytics.

On-Page Optimization: Optimize Shopify product pages, collection pages, and blog posts for target keywords.

Implement best practices for meta tags, headings, alt tags, and internal linking.

Ensure website content and structure are optimized for search engine crawlers and a positive user experience.

Technical SEO: Optimize page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall site architecture within the Shopify platform.

Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors.

Content and Keyword Research: Perform in-depth keyword research relevant to our products and audience.

Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly blog posts, guides, and product descriptions.

Link Building and Off-Page SEO: Develop and execute a link-building strategy that includes outreach, guest posting, and collaborations.

Manage backlink quality and track domain authority metrics.

Performance Tracking and Reporting: Track and analyze key SEO metrics using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.

Provide weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
