Responsibilities and Duties
1. Determine clients requirement for travel and advise itineraries based on best routes and cost.
2. Make and confirm reservations using GDS.
3. Notifies clients of travel dates, baggage limits, special requests like meals, wheelchair bassinet etc., visa requirements, and other relevant information.
4. Interpret fare rules and advise fare rules and conditions to clients.
5. Collects payments, relevant documentation, tickets for travel.
6. Advise schedule changes to clients in timely manner.
7. Follow internal workflows using CRM and mid-office applications.
8. Make follow-ups and convince clients.
9. Be professional, and positive in handling clients.
Competencies Requirement:
1. Required minimum of two years of experience as a Travel Consultant
2. Knowledge of Indian Regional language will be an added advantage.
3. Must be proficient in GDS & Knowledge of International Fares.
4. Must know how to use NDC.
5. Must be computer literate, familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Docs
6. Should be familiar with any CRM.
7. Must have good communication skills and Customer Service skills.
8. Willingness and ability to learn.
9. Graduate in any discipline
10. IATA Qualification or Equivalent along with Industry Experience.
