Job Summary:
The Overseas Admission Consultant is responsible for guiding international students through the process of pursuing higher education abroad. This role involves providing comprehensive assistance to students, from selecting suitable universities to navigating the admission, visa, and immigration processes.
The consultant also helps students explore financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Guidance: Offer comprehensive guidance to international students regarding higher education opportunities abroad.
Admission Process: Assist students in understanding and completing the admission requirements for foreign universities.
University Selection: Help students choose appropriate universities based on their academic aspirations and preferences.
Visa and Immigration Support: Provide support and guidance to students in visa application and immigration processes.
Financial Aid and Scholarships: Assist students in exploring financial aid options and scholarship opportunities available for international students.
CRM Management: Utilise CRM software for effective management of student data and communications.
Qualifications and Skills:-
Education: Graduate/Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
Experience: Previous experience in education counselling, international admissions, or related fields is preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of education systems and admissions processes for foreign universities.
Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, along with proficiency in other relevant languages.
Empathy: Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding in student counselling.
Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and partner institutions.
