Senior Network Security Engineer

Purpose

To deliver exceptional network - security solutions and services to optimize, protect and secure customer networks.

You will collaborate and contribute to network and solution design, project delivery and BAU escalation issues.

You will act as a network champion, sharing your knowledge, influencing our innovation, and contributing to our development, and service delivery.

You will provide your network expertise to assist with Presale’s opportunities, demos, and workshops.

Hours

You will be working remote, from home to New Zealand time zone

Experience

1. 10 Years Network Engineer & Consultancy experience managing and maintaining customer networks.

2. 5 Years network solution design, architecture.

3. Advanced knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Extreme, Ruckus, Aruba.

4. Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP protocols

5. Advanced knowledge of SD-WAN

6. Advanced knowledge of Wireless solutions

7. Good knowledge of Azure, and Cloud solutions

8. Good knowledge of MPLS/VPLS/VPN/MP -BGP architecture

Critical Functions

• Deliver technical excellence as a key quality requirement for the successful execution of assigned tasks or projects.

• Provide 3rd Level Technical BAU Support.

• Work with the Solutions Team to provide network input into projects regarding the design and suitability of the solution, highlighting any unique considerations that should be taken in account when designing the solution.

• Manage all engineering aspects of the technical solution that you are responsible for, either directly, as part of the networking team.

• Responsible for the completion of networking documentation.

• Responsible for building exceptional rapport and maintaining the highest levels of communication with key stake holders ensuring they are fully informed on the status of their network or project.

• Responsible for the internal communication with the key stakeholders regarding the customers network status, opportunities, developments, or risks.
