Job Description

Job Title: Senior Purchase Manager

Job Overview:

The Senior Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the purchasing department, including managing the purchase order process, leading a team of purchasing professionals, and maintaining accurate records of goods ordered and received. This role involves negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers, while building and maintaining strong vendor relationships to secure the best value for the company. The ideal candidate will have extensive procurement and purchasing experience in the supplements and nutraceutical industry.

Expected Date of Joining: Immediate

Reporting to: COO

Location: Dabbaspet, Bangalore.

CTC Offered: Based on last drawn salary and experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Research & Selection:

o Research and identify potential suppliers, assess their products and services, and select the best vendors to meet the company’s needs.

2. Price Negotiation & Contract Management:

o Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other key contract conditions to ensure optimal value for the company.

3. Coordination & Delivery Management:

o Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services in line with company requirements.

4. Quality Assurance:

o Ensure all purchased items meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.

5. Budget Management & Cost Optimization:

o Monitor purchases to stay within budget, exploring cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

6. Vendor Relationship Management:

o Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure favourable terms and continued collaboration.

7. Issue Resolution:

o Address issues related to defective items, delivery delays, or discrepancies in orders, taking swift action to resolve concerns.

8. Compliance:

o Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal re
