Position: Senior Kids' Salon Hair Stylist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our team at our kids' salon. As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services to our young customers, leading and mentoring the team of stylists, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience for our clients and their parents.

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent hair services to kids, including haircuts, styling, and treatments

- Lead and mentor the team of junior stylists, providing guidance and training to help them develop their skills

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their parents, ensuring that they are satisfied with their hair services and feel welcomed in the salon

- Stay up-to-date with the latest hair styling trends, techniques, and products, and share your knowledge with the team

- Ensure that the salon is clean, organized, and well-maintained, including tools and workstations

- Manage appointments, maintain records, and handle payment transactions

- Continuously promote and market the salon to attract new clients and grow the business

- Collaborate with other salon team members to provide exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction

- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Certification in hair styling or cosmetology from a recognized institution

- At least 2-5 years of experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong focus on kids' hair services

- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team of stylists

- Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially with children and their parents

- Up-to-date knowledge of hair care trends, techniques, and products

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed
