1) Provide Support to Field Sales by:
Prepare techno-commercial proposals based on customer requirements & inputs from field sales & the Asst Manager – Sales & Application Engineering.
Respond to all Technical & Commercial queries of customers
Liaise with factory & purchase for specials, drawings & delivery schedules
Conduct thorough technical & commercial contract review of all Purchase Orders received
Resolve with customers any discrepancies in prior to issuing the Order Acceptance ().
Prepare the ‘Order forwarding Memo’ (.) & ‘Work Order’ (.) and issue to factory with due approvals from management. Ensuring that clean orders are entered into the system IS A MUST & a key .
Issue ‘Proforma Invoice’(.) to customers & follow up on all payments.
Keep close follow up on all account receivables & keep management updated on the same.
Update & issue the ‘Dispatch Schedule’ to factory, sales & management on weekly basis.
Update the ‘Quote to Cash Register’ on a weekly basis & issue to the executive management.
Awareness of: corporate agreements and execution of agreement requirement strategy, account management.
2) Interdepartmental Activities:
Participate in development of internal systems and procedures
Promote customer awareness among all employees
Evaluate competition
Identify and elevate common product problems
Provide liaison between field sales and other departments
3) Intradepartmental Activities:
Provide training of new Sales Engineers and Sales Associates/ agencies
Provide business inputs to management
Work collaboratively with the Asst Manager – Sales & Application Engineering.
