Carryout vendor evaluation and development for various materials and equipment purchased for the project sites.
Carryout material and equipment inspections as per the need basis for the different BU projects.
Key focus to be made on zero defective material supply to project sites.
Lead the supplier approval process, assessing Manufacturing / Standards / Technology capabilities, and addressing Health, Safety, and Environmental risks.
Responsible for Testing of standard, and non-standard electrical panels and transformers FAT with standard automation systems
Coordination and implementation of overall quality standard/requirement in the business.
Coordination with manufacturing units, vendors and clients for equipment tests.
Coordination on weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis (as applicable) for supplier quality reviews and status update with the project team.
To create and implement all the quality documentation (MQP, FQP, SOPs, Checklists, Formats, etc.) as per the latest ISO standard and customers requirement.
Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues; validate SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) and oversee implementations.
Maintain inspection and test records of electrical components.
To carry periodic assessments of the Vendor.
Ensure compliance of all the NCs observed during the inspection/ audits (external and internal) is done by the vendor.
Ensuring that adequate corrective and preventive action is initiated to reduce the deviations from the supplier.
Use of 7 QC tools, 8D analysis.
Provide technical support to the tendering, Procurement, engineering and project team as per the need basis.
To coordinate with vendors and manufacturing units for support related to the material and equipment to project team.
