Roles & Responsibilities:

Prepare or supervise conceptual design in 3D software of solar PV mounting structure/ tracking system / solar products.

Perform meshing and analysis in FEA software Inventor Nastran as per the design boundary conditions. Perform iterations by changing parameters for design optimization

Prepare design basis report including all boundary conditions, stress & deflection results

Understand and verify deviation, design change request in drawings on structural engineering issues submitted by vendors/ consultants /customers throughout the production/project phases.

Prepare, review, revise BoQ and fabrication drawings. May direct or supervise other drafters for the same.

Coordinate with other departments such as electrical, projects, procurement etc and with the customers.

Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents for product.

Coordination with the vendors for inspection of prototype at vendor/suppliers place for design/drawing verification/finalization as per the improvement suggested

Skills and Special Requirements:

Proficiency in Inventor-Nastran is must

Familiar with Invertor products

Knowledge of solid works & Staad-pro will be added advantage.

Excellent computer skills in Microsoft.
