Are you a seasoned design enthusiast with a knack for innovation? Vector Technorium invites applications for the position of Senior Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are seeking an individual who is not only adept at utilizing CAD software but also possesses a keen eye for detail and a flair for creativity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct research to explore new product concepts and methodologies.

Devise creative solutions to engineering challenges.

Enhance existing products and processes through innovative design.

Execute design calculations manually.

Develop comprehensive engineering products and processes, encompassing 3D modeling, simulation, analysis, optimization, and detailed drawings.

Fabricate and test prototypes, evaluating and addressing any issues or risks.

Collaborate with production teams to streamline manufacturing processes.

Liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.

Generate detailed reports to enhance production efficiency.

Engage with customers and project management teams to monitor project progress and implementation.

Resolve technical issues and enhance product manufacturability and serviceability.

Ensure compliance with industry safety standards.

SKILLS

Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Iron CAD, Creo, or Catia.

Familiarity with FEA tools like ANSYS or StaadPRO.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Experience with Microsoft Projects is advantageous.

EXPERIENCE

3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical equipment and structural design.

Preferred experience in Mechatronics product design.

Knowledge of design principles including GD&T, FMEA, and DFM, as well as relevant standards (IS, DIN).

SOFT SKILLS

Strong computational and spatial abilities.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic.
