Job Description

- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.

- Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and provide actionable insights to management.

- Monitor inventory accounting for spare parts, raw materials, and finished vehicles.

- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns.

- Handle tax audits, assessments, and coordinate with tax consultants and authorities.

- Reconcile customer and vendor accounts periodically.

- Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts for various departments.

- Monitor budget vs. actuals and highlight variances.

- Implement and monitor internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud.

- Manage cash flows, bank reconciliations, loan documentation, and fund transfers.

- Ensure data accuracy and system-based financial reporting.

- Guide and supervise junior accountants and finance executives.
