(a) He is responsible for the security of the school premises, students, staffs and all school inventories.
(b) His tour of duties will be in shift basis (3 watch system). The timings of the duty shift will be as per the approved list issued by the school management.
(c) He should report to the duty in time and should replace the on duty guard after taking proper briefing form him.
(d) He should execute his duties in proper prescribed uniform and his bearing should be an exemplary one.
(e) He should ensure that the allotted post / gate should not be unattended at any given time during his duties. The entry and exit points to the school should be secured 24/7.
(f) He should properly ensue the effective access control at the main gate especially during the rush hours in morning and evening.
(g) He should closely monitor the CCTV displays. Any abnormalities need to address on top priority.
(h) He should be able to control / mitigate the crowd, mob or any physical threats by the local people diplomatically and should inform the school authority if the problem elevates, for further assistance. He should keep all potential threats away from the school property.
(j) He should have a pleasing approach and decent behaviour with all parents and guests approaching the school.
(k) He should Patrol the school campus and areas around the school including unsupervised areas. Any abnormality found should immediately brought to the notice of the security supervisor or AO.
(l) The security guards can carry out random security checks to keep the school premises free from prohibited items
(m) He should know how to act at the time of emergency. He should be able to vacate the school at the earliest without causing chaos and panic among the students during emergency.
