ROLE SUMMARY

SAP BW/BI developer is responsible to design and maintain standard/custom BW4HANA solutions translating requirements in an optimal BW design while adhering to SAP best practices development methodology. The candidate will be working closely with customers, Business Analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements and design a quality technical solution that are aligned with the business and IT strategies.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience with SAP BW including ABAP development skills. BW4HANA experience preferred.

• Knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL and BI architectures, concepts and frameworks

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to the development and/or maintenance of the current BW landscape and architecture by modeling, designing, developing, testing and implementing the appropriate backend and front-end structures needed to meet business reporting requirements.

• Work closely with Functional team on the gathering the technical specifications in terms of tables/fields/joins to be considered in the data architecture.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom and pre-delivered extractors to perform data extractions, transformations, and application of business rules.

• Experience on BW4HANA extraction for SAP FSRI; FSCD; GL; BP.

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for BW4HANA and BOBJ system.

• Monitor process chains and address data load failures.

• Support maintenance windows, system upgrade or migration whenever required.

• Perform data loads request and support especially for month/quarter/year end processes.

• Develop BW4HANA Native solutions through participation in small and large projects – HANA views; CDS views.

• Working on the latest solutions related to Business Intelligence - including mainly work with BW4HANA and S4HANA.

• Experience on BOBJ Web; WebI (creating Dashboards) and Analysis for Office.
