Role: SAP Administrator
Responsibilities:
1. SAP System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), BW (Business Warehouse), and other relevant modules.
2. System Monitoring: Monitor the health, performance, and availability of SAP systems, identify and resolve issues, and proactively take necessary actions to prevent disruptions.
3. User Management: Create and manage user accounts, roles, authorizations, and profiles within the SAP environment, ensuring proper access controls and security.
4. System Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, updates, and patch installations, following best practices and minimizing downtime.
5. Performance Tuning: Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, optimize system configurations, and implement performance improvement measures.
6. Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
7. Incident Resolution: Respond to and resolve user-reported issues related to SAP applications, troubleshoot problems, and provide timely and effective solutions.
8. Change Management: Coordinate and manage system changes, including configuration changes, transports, and system configurations, adhering to change management processes.
9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures. Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and other relevant metrics as required.
10. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, infrastructure teams, and business users, to support integration, testing, and implementation of SAP solutions.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. SAP certifications are a plus.
2. Experience: Minimum of 7-9 years.
