Position: SAP ABAP Lead

Location: Bengaluru, India (On-site)

Duration: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced ABAP Lead Developer to join our team for a challenging and rewarding project based in Bengaluru. As an ABAP Lead Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of ABAP programs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

10+ years of experience in ABAP development for SAP ECC systems.

Strong technical skills in ABAP programming, including proficiency in BAPIs, IDOCs, BADI, and OOP.

Experience with SAP integration technologies such as ALE, RFC, and Web Services.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with agile development methodologies is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ABAP programs using WRICEF (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements) methodology.

Design and implement technical solutions using ABAP objects such as BAPIs, IDOCs, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers.

Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing ABAP programs.

Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.

Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends.
