Job Title: Salon Manager
Reports to: Salon Owner/Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Salon Manager to lead our team of stylists and support staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the salon, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. *Salon Operations*: Oversee the daily operations of the salon, including managing staff, controlling inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
2. *Team Management*: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of stylists and support staff to achieve business objectives and provide exceptional customer service.
3. *Customer Service*: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, resolve customer complaints, and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
4. *Business Growth*: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, increase revenue, and expand the customer base.
5. *Marketing and Promotion*: Collaborate with the owner/director to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
6. *Financial Management*: Manage the salon's finances, including controlling expenses, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
7. *Inventory Management*: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control stockroom operations.
8. *Compliance*: Ensure that the salon complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
1. *Experience*: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a salon manager or assistant manager.
2. *Education*: Cosmetology license or equivalent experience.
3. *Skills*: Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
4. *Knowledge*: Knowledge of salon operations, marketing, and financial management.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. *Certifications*: Certifications in salon management. Experience in Salon software.
